East Penn Manufacturing Co Inc. awarded USD$2.25M by US DOE to implement a 3.6 MW regulation services solution (Ecoult is vendor for the energy storage solution to East Penn).

Ecoult to implement major Storage solution using UltraBattery to smooth grid variability (Frequency Regulation)

The energy storage facility will consist of an array of UltraBattery™ modules integrated in a turnkey Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). In addition to the UltraBatteries™, the BESS will include a power conditioning system, a master programmable controller, and a battery monitoring system.
