Research and Development Manager

quentin goldfinch

Quentin initially engaged with Ecoult as an engineering management consultant, but was soon attracted to join Ecoult full time to help grow our engineering team, further develop sound engineering and management practices and realize the commercial potential of our unique technologies. An important factor in this decision was a shared passion for making a positive impact on the environment by enhancing the competitiveness of renewable energy resources.

Quentin brings to Ecoult senior leadership experience of more than 26 years across the disciplines of electronics, software and mechanical/industrial design, having led high-performing engineering teams in Australia, the US and India.

His extensive experience encompasses a diverse range of industry sectors including consumer electronic products (Netcomm), enterprise communication systems (Avaya), carrier/service provider communications systems (Lucent, JNA), biomedical devices (Cochlear, Resmed), inkjet printing and interactive paper technologies (Memjet, Silverbrook), and professional electronic music products (Fairlight Instruments).
